A vacation may need to be shelved. _ ` a b c d e f g h i ^ ASTROLOGY Asian American Chamber of Commerce hosts ‘Networking Nite’ S kyMark, a New Jersey based development project, recently outlined its five-year plan for foreign investors, including those from India, to get a Green Card on the strength of investing half a million, at an ‘Networking Nite’ event organized by Asian American Chamber of Commerce in Edison, NJ. Gulshan Chhabra, one of the principals of the SkyMark project said that his project qualified as target employment, are based upon the current demographic information issued by the state of New Jersey. “The project is an ideal opportunity for those who can invest $500,000. Investors will qualify for conditional green card for a family of husband, wife and unmarried children under 21 years of age,” Chhabra said. “The project is located in Ridgefield Park, Bergen County that consists of retail and residential development. The plan is divided into three areas of Retail Center, Mixed use Town Center and Hotel and Luxury Residential,” he added. The developers of SkyMark project pointed out that the investment in the project was permitted under EB-5 Regional Center Pilot Program for economic development in the United States. EB-5 was created by the U.S. Congress and allows permanent residency for a minimum investment in a Target Employment Area. Under this plan a U.S. citizenship is given based on the investment which is required to be a minimum of $500,000. Members of Asian American Chamber of Commerce were also informed about investment opportunities in franchise businesses by Franchise Attorney Justin Klein and Consultant Boynton Weekes. Both of them spoke at length about the benefits of putting money in franchise businesses and presented a scenario of navigating challenges while selecting the right business ownership opportunity. They also offered to assist prospective investors, handle difficult investment situations. Priti Pandya Patel, the president of the Chamber said that the SkyMark project was presented for the benefit of the Indian American community and that the Chamber will be organizing many more programs including a Health and Wellness Expo on June 2, in which they will collaborate with RobertWood Johnson hospital, Johnson and Johnson and United Health Care System.
