BUSINESS/SERVICES DIRECTORY 7 Mindsets for Success, Happiness and Fulfilment W hat is the essential in- gredient for a successful life? What is the one thing that can bestow upon us professional excellence, good health, familial comfort and inner joy? That one thing is not money, for we find so many wealthy people who are unproductive, unhealthy and miserable. It is not powerful connections either, because even children of well-connected people sometimes end up as irrespon- sible derelicts or wayward vagrants. Nor is it high IQ, for many intellectuals are both emotionally fragile and socially obtuse. All these assets and qualities can undoubtedly prove helpful for success, but without that one essential ingredient, it cannot be guaranteed. The biggest key to accomplishment, happiness and fulfilment is mastery over our emotions. As the saying goes, ‘Attitude leads to altitude.’ Those who are expert in marshalling their sentiments are catapulted to success in their field of work, despite overwhelming odds. Since they possess the ability to choose their thoughts, they fill themselves with faith and inspiration and apply themselves to their tasks with joy. They are resilient and determined, even while facing enormous challenges. Thus, they rise head and shoulders above their brethren, with astonishing accomplishments and heroic qualities of head and heart. Some may say these people just got lucky, but it was really their superior attitude in all situa- tions that made all the difference. In contrast, there are people who keep getting entangled in the cobwebs of their thoughts. They waste precious time and energy revisiting sentiments of anxiety, gloom and resentment. Such negative feelings rob them of health, make them unpopular among friends and ineffective at work. Consequently, their own mind becomes their worst enemy. Often, they do not even realise that their gloomy thoughts are the primary cause of their frustrations. And when they do become aware of their flawed thinking, they do not know how to subdue the despair that keeps cropping up in their mind. They may claim that Lady Luck never shone upon them, but, in reality, it was their in- eptness at managing their emotions that tripped them on the journey of life. Fortunately for us, harmful mindsets can be replaced by productive ones, without any prerequisite for external situ- ations or resources. All we need to do is to change the way we think and feel. The beauty of the power of mindset is that it is an internal resource we all possess. If we can train our mind and intellect, their im- mense potential will get unlocked. Then, because of our advantageous mindset, we will naturally think in productive ways in every situation. To learn the tools required to estab- lish the right mindsets, attend the Life Transformation Program in New Jersey where Swami Mukundananda, who is a global spiritual leader, will be delivering discourses on Mindsets for Happiness and Fulfillment. The program will take place at Temple Beth El. U.S. Highway 206, Hillsborough Township, New Jersey, from Sunday June 7th to Thursday June 11th, 2026. In some cases, a par- ent who entered the United States law- fully may be able to adjust status inside the country, even if they later overstayed. Can undocumented individuals qualify for employment-based green cards? Possibly. Eligibility depends on several factors, including the manner of entry into the United States, the maintenance of lawful status, the length of any unlaw- ful presence, and the availability of waiv- ers. Each case requires individualized analysis. What is Cancellation of Removal? Cancellation of Removal is a discre- tionary form of relief available in Im- migration Court for certain individuals who meet strict statutory requirements, including 10 years of continuous physi- cal presence, good moral character, and exceptional and extremely unusual hard- ship to a qualifying U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident family member. What is the difference between EB-1A and EB-2 NIW? EB-1A is reserved for individuals with sustained national or international acclaim and a record of extraordinary achievement in their field. EB-2 NIW is available to professionals with advanced degrees or exceptional ability whose work is of substantial merit and national importance to the United States. Both categories permit self-petition without employer sponsorship, but the evidentia- ry standards and qualifying criteria differ. Are humanitarian immigration pro- grams still available in 2026? Yes.
