In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18, Bachchan welcomed the Common- wealth Games 2026 winners, which included Lov- lina Borgohain, Jhandu Kumar, Sharmila Dhankar, and Asmita Dey. Bonding over the rigour of training and disci- pline, a cheeky query from Asmita about directors scolding megastar Amitabh Bachchan prompted Big B to candidly reminisce about his early days of rejection and tough directors in Bollywood. When CWG 2026 Gold Medalist Asmita Dey asked, “Just like during our training, whenever we make a mistake or do something wrong, our coaches scold us. So Sir, when you do shows, do your directors scold you too?” To this, Amitabh Bachchan humorously recalled his early days in Bollywood when he faced rejection due to his tall height and lack of acting skills. “I used to get scolded a lot. In the beginning, I got scolded immensely; ‘You don’t know anything, acting-wacting, you are too tall, go back home.’ Then when I finally got work, it was ‘Okay fine, stand over there and say the dialogue. Is this any way to deliver a dialogue?’ They would direct me, and slowly I improved.” The actor and host also shared an instance when he was asked to leave the sets of the film because he was late. “Normally, I always try to reach the set on time, but once I got late. The director was standing outside the set. I arrived borrowing someone else’s car since I didn’t own one back then. He looked at me and said, ‘Shooting is packed up; get out from here’ and he asked me to leave the space,” added Amitabh Bachchan. Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan are set to star in the upcoming film ‘7 Dogs,’ which stars Ahmed Ezz and Karim Abdel Aziz in the lead roles. The film was shot entirely in Riyadh. Director Bilall Fallah shared his experi- ence of working with Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, saying that he had “learned” a lot from them and he feels “honoured” after working with them. While talking to ANI, Bilall Fallah said, “I learned a lot from them. They’re legends, and they have so much experi- ence, and they carry a perspective of their cinema, and just as a director, it was a blessing to work with them. You feel that creatively we were connected, and it’s been a tremendous honor and an unfor- gettable experience to work with Sanjay and Salman.” Adil El Arbi shared the reason behind the casting of Salman and Sanjay, say- ing that it was the idea of Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and the writer of the film. “Turki Alalshikh, his Excellency, was the one who came up with the idea and the concept of the movie. It’s like his dream cast. He himself is a big fan of Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt and he proposed these great stars to us. Honestly, there’s so many more stars. I think that if there comes another Seven Dogs that’s more, longer in Mumbai then we can have even more actors,” added Adil El Arbi talking to ANI. The India release trailer of global action-thriller ‘7 Dogs’ was unveiled by actor Salman Khan earlier, setting the stage for the film’s theatrical release in the country on August 21 this year. The trailer features special action ap- pearances by Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, marking a major screen reunion for the Bollywood stars. The high-octane promo gave audi- ences a first glimpse of the Sanju-Salman duo sharing the screen in an international action setting. The film is now slated to release in the- aters on October 2. Jason Sanjay, the son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, shared the new release date on his Instagram handle. The movie was earlier slated to release in theaters on July 31. “Mark the date for the heist on October 2. Starring Sundeep Kishan in the lead role, the movie is pro- duced under the banner of Lyca Productions. The first track of ‘Sigma’ is finally out, titled ‘Sigma Style’.
